You Need More Than Clean Books.
You Need Someone Who Understands Your Business.
I'm Julia Spahiu, fractional CFO and founder of Edi and Sienna Group. Since 2011 I have kept books and led the finance work for contractors, property owners, salons, medical practices, and multi-entity groups. I started this firm because I kept meeting owners who had a bookkeeper keeping score and no one helping them understand the game.

My Story
I have spent my career inside the kind of financial complexity most bookkeepers avoid: contractors tracking dozens of open jobs, real estate groups with an LLC for every property, salons paying commission across multiple locations, and practices splitting revenue between providers and management companies.
What I found, over and over, was the same problem. Owners were getting reports, not answers. Their books were technically accurate and still financially useless, because nobody was translating the numbers into decisions.
That is the gap Edi and Sienna Group fills. We do not just record what happened. We tell you what it means and what to do about it.
What I Bring to Every Engagement
Deep Industry Expertise
I don't do general small business bookkeeping. My work is concentrated in industries where the real answers live a layer below the P&L:
-
Construction and the trades: job costing, work in progress, retainage, and change orders
-
Real estate and property management: entity-by-entity reporting, draw schedules, and Buildium kept in agreement with your books
-
Salons, spas, and med spas: commission splits, booth rent, and profit by stylist and location
-
Medical, dental, and aesthetics: provider compensation, management company structures, and profit by provider
-
Multi-entity and professional service businesses: intercompany transactions, consolidated financials, and multi-state payroll
CFO Thinking, Not Just Bookkeeping
Every client gets clean books and financial leadership. That means a monthly review call where we talk through what the numbers are actually telling you, not a report dropped in your inbox. Cash flow planning, budgeting, growth decisions, and someone to call before you sign the lease or make the hire.
Systems That Scale With You
I build financial infrastructure, not just spreadsheets: a QuickBooks setup built around your jobs, properties, or locations, reporting your CPA will thank you for, and a month-end close that runs on a schedule instead of a scramble.

Who I Work Best With
My clients are owners and operators who have built something real and are now running into financial complexity they didn't have two years ago. They are not looking for someone to file transactions. They want a financial partner who shows up every month, knows their numbers cold, and gives them a clear picture of where the business is going.
If that's you, let's talk.
